10-Yard Glitz Sequin Fabric Bolts

Each Glitz bolt gives you about 50" by 10 yards of mini sequins stitched onto a taffeta base, ready to cut into table runners, backdrop panels, cake table covers, and other custom sequin decor. It's the right choice when you want a size our finished linens don't come in, or when you're making several pieces and want to keep the cost per piece low. If you'd rather skip the cutting and hemming, our finished sequin linens are ready to use out of the package.

What's in Each Bolt

Every color in this collection is made the same way. Each bolt measures approximately 50" wide by 10 yards (360") long. The fabric is covered in small round sequins that overlap closely, so very little of the taffeta base shows between them. That gives you an even sparkle across the whole surface instead of patchy shine.

Glitz Sequin Fabric Colors

  • Gold: A warm metallic that works with ivory, blush, and black. Popular for cake tables, 50th anniversaries, and New Year's parties.
  • Silver: A cool metallic that fits winter themes, 25th anniversaries, and white-and-silver weddings. It also pairs easily with blues and grays.
  • Iridescent White: White sequins with a color-shifting shine that changes as the light moves. A favorite for bridal showers, weddings, and quinceañera head tables.
  • Black: Adds sparkle without adding color. Works for galas, milestone birthdays, and photo backdrops where you want bright decor to stand out in front.
  • Red: A bold red for Christmas, Valentine's Day, and red-carpet themes. Try it as a runner over white or black linens.
  • Royal Blue: A saturated blue for graduations, sports banquets, and school-color events. It pairs well with silver or white.
  • Baby Pink: A soft pink for baby showers, sweet 16s, and first birthdays. It looks balanced next to gold or white.
  • Purple: A rich purple for quinceañeras, Mardi Gras, and royal themes. Pair it with gold for more contrast or silver for a cooler look.

Sequins reflect whatever light is around them, so a color can look brighter or deeper in your venue than it does on screen. If you need a precise match, order early enough to see the fabric in person before you cut.

What One Bolt Can Make

These are approximate yields from a 50" x 360" bolt. Hemming will make each finished piece slightly smaller.

  • Table runners: Cut three 120" lengths, then cut each one lengthwise into four strips. That gives you about 12 runners, each roughly 12" x 120". At $98.99 per bolt, that works out to about $8.25 per runner, and you can reuse them or sell them after the event.
  • 10-ft-tall backdrop: Three 120" drops, each about 50" wide, cover roughly 12.5 ft of wall when hung flat.
  • 8-ft-tall backdrop: Three 96" drops cover about the same width. You'll have a 72" piece left over that works as a small table accent.
  • 6-ft banquet table toppers: Three 108" lengths. Each one hangs about 10" over the long sides of the table and about 18" over the ends.
  • 30" round cocktail table toppers: Seven 50" squares, each with about a 10" drop.

Because the fabric is 50" wide, one piece won't reach the floor on a standard event table. A 6-ft banquet table needs a 90" x 132" tablecloth for a floor-length look, and a 60" round table needs a 120" round. To make that from yardage, you would have to sew panels together. If you want floor-length sequin coverage without sewing, shop finished tablecloths, and check drop measurements for your table in our linen size guide.

Cutting and Finishing

Cut from the taffeta side with sharp fabric scissors, following the gaps between sequin rows where you can. Expect a few loose sequins along every cut edge. Laying down a sheet first makes cleanup easy.

To keep edges from unraveling, fold them under and stitch, or use hem tape or fabric glue on pieces that won't be cleaned often. For a backdrop that hangs from a rod, sew a pocket along the top edge. If you'd rather not sew at all, our finished table runners come in standard sizes and are ready to lay down.

Care and Storage

Spot clean sparingly with cold water and hang to dry. Dry cleaning gives the best results. If the fabric arrives with fold lines, hang it or drape it over a table a day or two before your event so the creases have time to relax.

Between events, roll the fabric or finished pieces around a tube rather than folding them. Rolling reduces creases and helps keep sequins flat. Our materials and care guide has more tips by fabric type.

Styling the Rest of the Table

Sequins go further when the pieces around them are plainer. Lay a sequin runner or topper over a solid base cloth, and finish the place settings with solid napkins in a matching or neutral color. Gold or silver charger plates pick up the shine without competing with it.

To carry the color into the seating, add chair linens in the same color family. Keep centerpieces simple on sequin-topped tables so the fabric stays the focal point. For backdrop stands and hardware, browse our event draping and backdrops collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is one Glitz sequin fabric bolt?

Each bolt is approximately 50" wide and 10 yards (360") long. That's enough for about 12 table runners measuring 12" x 120", or a 10-ft-tall backdrop about 12.5 ft wide.

What is the fabric made of?

Mini round sequins are sewn onto a taffeta base. The sequins overlap closely, so very little of the base fabric shows through.

Will sequins fall off when I cut it?

Some sequins will come loose along each cut edge. Cutting from the back and finishing the edges with stitching, hem tape, or fabric glue keeps shedding to a minimum.

How do I clean it?

Spot clean sparingly with cold water and hang dry. Dry cleaning gives the best results.
