Wholesale Fuchsia Curtain Drapes

Fuchsia drape panels in this collection come in five different fabrics, spandex, velvet, crinkle shimmer, glitz sequin, and flame retardant sheer voile, each with its own width, weight, and finish. Panels are sold individually and are drape fabric only; the upright, crossbar, and base for mounting are purchased separately.

Quick facts:

  • Fabrics: Spandex (4-way stretch), velvet, crinkle shimmer, glitz sequin, and flame retardant (FR) sheer voile
  • Widths: 52" (velvet, crinkle shimmer, glitz sequin), 60" (spandex), 118" (sheer voile FR)
  • Height range: 10ft up to 18ft, depending on fabric
  • Sold as: Individual drape panels; stands and pipe-and-drape hardware sold separately
  • Special note: The sheer voile line is flame retardant, useful for venues with fire code requirements, though flame retardancy diminishes with each wash

Spandex 4-way Stretch

Made from 90% polyester and 10% spandex at approximately 200 GSM, with 4" pockets on the top and bottom for mounting and a 60" width across every height. This fabric stretches both crosswise and lengthwise, which gives it a smooth, wrinkle-free finish without ironing, and it's machine washable in cold water with a low-heat tumble dry, as shown on the 12ft height option.

Velvet

A 52"-wide panel at approximately 200 GSM, offering a denser, plusher texture than spandex with a soft, non-reflective sheen, as seen on the 10ft height option. Because velvet is more delicate, care differs from the wash-and-go fabrics in this collection: steaming before an event, gentle spot cleaning, or professional dry cleaning are recommended rather than machine washing, and storing the panel in a garment bag helps protect the texture between uses.

Crinkle Shimmer

A 52"-wide panel that's a CV Linens exclusive, combining a crinkled texture with a subtle shimmer finish, available in the 12ft height. Because the texture is designed to resist visible wrinkling, it's a practical choice for a backdrop that needs to look finished without steaming beforehand.

Glitz Sequin

A 52"-wide sequin panel that's semi-sheer rather than fully opaque, which makes it a strong base layer for flower walls, neon signs, or balloon garlands rather than a standalone solid backdrop, part of the broader Glitz Sequin Drapes line. For full coverage, pair it with an additional panel or a solid-color backing behind it.

Sheer Voile Flame Retardant (FR)

A 118"-wide panel, noticeably wider than the other fabrics in this collection, made from 100% polyester at approximately 45-50 GSM with 4" pockets and roughly 10-30% opacity, so it diffuses light rather than fully blocking a view through it, shown here in the 14ft height.

This is the fabric to choose if your venue has a fire code requirement for flame-retardant draping, such as historic buildings or barns, though it's worth noting that flame retardancy diminishes with each wash, so avoid unnecessary washing if certification matters for your event.

Choosing the Right Width and Height

Width matters as much as height when planning coverage. The 52" and 60" fabrics (velvet, crinkle shimmer, glitz sequin, spandex) are narrower panels meant to be hung side by side for full wall coverage, while the 118"-wide sheer voile FR panels cover roughly double the width in a single piece, which can mean fewer panels needed for the same span. For height, match the panel to your stand or pipe-and-drape frame height rather than your ceiling height, since most setups mount from a crossbar rather than floor to ceiling.

Care by Fabric

  • Spandex: Machine washable in cold water, tumble dry on low heat. No ironing needed due to the stretch fabric's natural wrinkle resistance.
  • Velvet: Steam before events to remove wrinkles; use gentle spot cleaning for minor marks or professional dry cleaning for a full clean. Store in a garment bag or backdrop storage bag between uses.
  • Crinkle shimmer: Wrinkle-resistant by design; check the specific product listing for exact wash instructions.
  • Glitz sequin: Handle gently to avoid loosening sequins; check the specific product listing for exact wash instructions.
  • Sheer voile FR: Machine washable in cold water on low heat, but keep in mind that washing gradually reduces the fabric's flame retardant treatment, so minimize washing if fire-code compliance is required for your venue.

How to Style Fuchsia Curtain Drapes

A few ways to build the full look around a fuchsia backdrop:

  • Coordinate the drape's tone with your tablecloths, either matching fuchsia throughout or pairing it with a neutral tablecloth so the backdrop stays the visual focal point
  • Extend the color down the center of your tables with a fuchsia or complementary table runner, which ties the backdrop and the tabletop into one color story
  • Add a table overlay in a metallic or contrasting tone over a neutral tablecloth to echo the drape's color without fully matching it
  • Layer a semi-sheer glitz sequin panel in front of a solid spandex or velvet panel for more depth and sparkle than a single fabric provides on its own

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the drape panel come with a stand?

No. Each listing is for the fabric drape panel only. The upright, crossbar, and base needed to hang the drape are sold separately, typically as part of a pipe-and-drape set.

Which fuchsia fabric needs the least maintenance?

Spandex is the easiest to maintain since it's machine washable and naturally wrinkle-resistant. Velvet requires the most care, generally needing steaming or professional dry cleaning rather than machine washing.

What's the difference between the 52", 60", and 118" widths?

52" and 60" panels (velvet, crinkle shimmer, glitz sequin, spandex) are narrower and typically hung side by side for full coverage. The 118" sheer voile FR panels are roughly double the width, which can mean fewer panels are needed to cover the same wall or backdrop span.

Is the glitz sequin panel a full, solid backdrop?
Not on its own. It's semi-sheer, so it works best as a shimmering layer in front of a solid panel or as a base for flower walls, balloon garlands, or signage rather than as a completely opaque standalone backdrop.

Why would I need a flame retardant (FR) drape?
Many venues, particularly historic buildings, barns, or spaces with specific fire code requirements, require draping fabric to be certified flame retardant. The sheer voile FR line is built for these situations, though its flame retardant treatment diminishes with repeated washing.

Can I mix fabrics within the same backdrop?

Yes. It's common to layer a semi-sheer glitz sequin panel over a solid spandex or velvet backdrop, or to use a wider sheer voile FR panel as a base with narrower velvet or sequin panels layered on top for texture.

How do I know what height to order?

Match the drape height to your mounting hardware (stand, pipe-and-drape crossbar, or ceiling rig) rather than the room's ceiling height, since most setups don't run floor to ceiling.
