Styling with Black/White

This dramatic pairing works well for formal dinners, galas, and modern events where a bold, high-contrast base color anchors the table rather than blending into it.

Caring for This Set

A gentle, cold machine wash or hand wash, followed by air drying or low-heat drying, is generally the safer approach for this fiber blend. As with the White/Black Trim option, washing this set separately from lighter-colored linens helps avoid any dye transfer, and ironing on low-to-medium heat while slightly damp keeps the petal edges crisp.

Completing the Table

Set each placemat under a charger plate so the petal edge peeks out around the rim, and layer a tablecloth or table runner underneath in a tone that lets the Turquoise trim stand out. Add napkins that pick up either the Black or White tone, and anchor the table with a piece from the centerpieces collection that echoes the same color pairing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many placemats are included in one set?

Each set includes 4 placemats, making it convenient to coordinate multiple place settings at the same table.

What are the dimensions of these placemats?

Each placemat measures approximately 15" in diameter. The round shape provides enough surface area for dinnerware while leaving room for additional table accents.

What fabric are these placemats made from?

They are made from a 100% linen, cotton, and rayon blend, combining the natural look of linen with the characteristics of blended fibers.

How should I wash and dry these placemats?

Use a gentle, cold wash cycle and air dry or use low heat when drying. Washing them separately from lighter-colored linens is also recommended as a precaution.

How does this design compare with the White/Black Trim version?

This style features a Black base with White trim, while the White/Black Trim version has a White base with Black trim. The reversed color combination lets you choose the option that better fits your tablescape.

What shape and edge detail do these placemats have?

These placemats have a round, scalloped design with petal-like edges. The decorative edge adds detail around the place setting while maintaining the overall round shape.
