Princess-Inspired Parties Aren’t Just for Kids Anymore

With the resurgence of classic fairy tales it’s easy to see why more and more people want a storybook themed event! From the opportunity to use bold colors to having an excuse to pull off tons of textured table linens, each event creates a whimsical atmosphere and has an extra spark of creativity behind the decor. Use this look for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, sweet 16’s, quinceaneras, birthday parties, or even anniversary parties!

Who Can Pull Off This Beauty and the Beast Wedding?

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
Set Up Time: 25 minutes without backdrop/55 minutes with backdrop

This Beauty and the Beast wedding look, sans drapes, is extremely easy to set up! The perk of using our wholesale universal chair covers is that this type of chair cover can fit any type of chair, which means they’re both reusable and a full-proof plan if you’re unsure of what chair type your event will have. (Click here to see our YouTube tutorial on how to set universal chair covers up.) Aside from chairs, a table skirt is an easy way to instantly dress up a table as all it requires is first laying down a tablecloth and then attaching a skirt via velcro table clips. The hardest part of setting up this tablescape is definitely the draping, which you’ll need two people and a measuring tape for.

What Goes With This Look?

An inspired Beauty and the Beast wedding or event has one major requirement: red roses! There are tons of DIY tutorials on how to create the perfect centerpiece look; if your event is at night or in a dimly lit room don’t forget to add an LED string light to complete the look of your centerpiece and set an ambiance for the room. Use any left over red roses to adorn linen chair covers, place settings, and specialty tables. Pin our centerpiece above for inspiration later.

Why Not Substitute?

If you’re looking for a more muted color palette you’ll want to swap out royal blue for champagne to create an overall red, gold, and champagne look. Luckily this means only swapping out the main element of the tablescape – the Curly Willow Table Skirt and matching Taffeta Overlay. This look is perfect for a head table, sweetheart table, or guest of honor table; for guest tables we recommend swapping out the table skirt for a solid royal blue or champagne base linen, depending on your color scheme.
